Yet I still see so many flaws in it, but i decided not to work on them anylonger to make the drawing seem less... overworked with.

This is stunningly beautiful! I love all the greens, it makes me want summer! And the gryphon itself is just wonderfully drawn, adorable and lovely~ As for critique, the drawing is almost perfect in my eyes. My only suggestion would be to rework the log going diagonally through the top left part of the drawing. Maybe not more detail but a different way of shading would improve it. As it is, the log looks flat compared to the other things in the picture.
